First wine tasting

My First WE here,

I went to Mendoza, "la ciudad" as we say here... A great city with a lot of shops, bars and restaurants... With a big park as well, Plenty of trees on the side way... seems to be really cool... And this city is a little bit like Bordeau in France... It's the Argentinian wine Capitale, so there are a lot of stuff in retation with wine...

During my walk, I met people from US that I had already met on last thursday ... they invited me to spend the evening with them... "with pleasure". A Israëlian girl join us and we went together in a wine bar "vinesofmendoza" which proposed differents tasting session, "tinto", "malbec" or "reserva" we selected the "tinto" session in a really nice place... i will come back for sure...

Then, we went to "el 23" a "tapas restaurant" very "chic" as we say in France... nice food, nice wine (Malbec "Alamos" 2006 Catena Zapata for the specialists) nice talk in English, Spanish and little bit of French... Nice meeting as well since I met a guy from NY who work for the "vines of mendoza" complex... We exchanged our business card and we are still in touch because he knows some people that I know... the wine world is small....

To finish... it was a really nice first impression of Mendoza ... I'll be well here I feel...
